The Sacramento Zoo is a place for all ages to visit. Depending on the time of year, the time of day and the programs for the day your experience will be different each time. My three Granddaughters and I decided that it was time for a visit.
A favorite was the educational program that talked about the fox, a boa, a skink, an armadillo and the red tail hawk. After learning about each of these animals all but the fox and the armadillo were brought out for all who wanted to touch them could.
It was a lazy day for many of the animals but the giraffes are always attentive and curious about their visitors. They were among the animals who were willing to have their portraits taken. The rest of them were lounging or taking their naps and not the least bit interested.
