On one of our trips to Mérida, México, I was obsessed with doors and found myself photographing doors where ever we went, not knowing what I would do with the photos. But then I was inspired to bring those photos back to life other day after visiting a couple of my favorite blogs, Leslie Geilber gave me inspiration with her series of chair photographs www.justanothermystery.com/2010/01/24/pull-up-a-chair/ and www.ofazomi.org gave me inspiration as to how to format my series. Mérida is a beautiful, old city with many layers of interests. This composition captures a few of those layers. I hope to return someday.
